Refunds and Cancellations
The following information refers to regular session classes only; for camp refund policies please refer to each individual camp program page.
AcroSports offers NO REFUNDS unless a class is cancelled due to underenrollment; in which case students may transfer to another class or request a refund. When you register for a class, it is yours for the session; it is not possible to substitute siblings or friends in place of a registered student.
Credit for the balance of a session's tuition fees is occassionally issued if a child is having difficulty adjusting to a class (and has made an effort to participate for 2-3 weeks or more), or is suffering from an extended illness or injury. We do NOT offer credit if a class needs to be dropped due to a change in a child's or parent's schedule.
We offer one make-up class per session (**up to 3 make-ups during Summer Session**) for each class a student is enrolled in per week (see the Office to check on available days/times for make-ups). Unfortunately we cannot accommodate more than this, due to our large number of students and limited floor space.
Some tips to help you avoid any possible conflicts around the above policies:
- Take advantage of our offer of a free trial class before registering your child if you are unsure if AcroSports will work for him/her. Free trials can be scheduled in current classes on a space available basis during most weeks of a session. Call the AcroSports office at (415)665-2276 for more information.
- Make sure that you & your child's schedule is set for the period of the coming class session (10-15 weeks depending on the session). If there is any possibility of school or another activity being scheduled during the time & day of your AcroSports class, consider registering for a different day & time to avoid a future conflict!
- If you encounter unforseen changes in your schedule, check in the office about the possibility of switching to another class. We are happy to help accommodate you; however, please keep in mind that we can only facilitate one class change per session; i.e., once you switch once, you cannot do so again (even back to the class you were originally in).
- Stick with it! Many children, especially those taking classes on their own, take 2-3 weeks or longer to adjust to the new class, teacher, and environment. Consistency is the key - don't worry if your child doesn't seem to be behaving "perfectly" at first! Most likely, he or she will feel comfortable after the first few weeks.
- If there is any chance that you may be missing a significant portion of the session - say, 3 weeks or more - due to a vacation, impending move or other reason, keep in mind that we can not prorate those weeks out of your tuition. You will be able to make up one missed class, but no more (EXCEPT during Summer sessions, when we offer up to 3 make-ups). If this situation won't work for you, you may want to consider not enrolling in that particular session and perhaps scheduling periodic drop-ins instead. (This will not qualify you for priority registration for the next session, however; only fully registered students can take advantage of this benefit.)
